We’ve Moved!

To our community and supporters:

As of July 2025, we have officially merged with our mentorship partner, Second Act Network, a New York-based nonprofit with the mission to support dancers transitioning away from the stage through mentorship and connection. We are proud to be the newest addition to their support services.

Second Act's mentorship programming allows the professional dance community to stay connected beyond the studio and stage. They provide the platform needed for professional dancers who have transitioned into second and third careers to support dancers just stepping away from the stage for the first time. From finance to arts administration to physical therapy and beyond, Second Act has connected mentors and mentees across the US, easing common transition anxieties and setting dancers up for success in their newest chapters.

Second Act and The Encore Fund have always been two sides to the same coin; Second Act aids dancers through connection and personal aid, and Encore provides monetary support, both helping dancers transition into their next steps with confidence. We couldn't be more thrilled to be under the same 501(c)(3) officially.
